Question:
I have a 2013 Ford F250 Super Duty. The cover for my 7 pole trailer plug broke off at car wash. Is your 7pole/ 4pole trailer plug a direct replacement for the factory unit and fit in the factory bracket?

Expert Reply:
I recommend the Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket, part # HM40975 for your 2013 Ford F-250. I spoke with my contact at Hopkins and they said this the direct replacement for your F-250 if you have the oblong connector. It will snap right into place.
This will let you tow trailers with either a 4-way or 7-way connector. The covers on the socket will not open far enough to allow you to be able to use both plugs at the same time
