Is Trimming, Drilling, or Modification Needed to Install Trailer Hitch on a 2010 VW CC

Question:
Please advise what kind of modification/trimming needs to be done for installation. Kindly verify if any exisiting parts needs to be removed prior of installation. Its a 2010 VW CC 2.0T. Thank you for your advice.

To install the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C11091, on your 2010 Volkswagen CC, you will have to some minor drilling, trimming, and temporarily lower the exhaust. The trailer hitch bolts on using existing holes on the vehicle frame.
I have included a link to the installation instructions for you so you can see what is involved in the installation. All of the hitches for your CC will require drilling and trimming.
