is a bow roller for just to secure the front of my boat or can it be used to replace the spool rollers that my deep v aluminum boat keeps destroying

A bow roller like the part # YR450Y wouldn't be any more resistant to damage than a spool roller like the part # YR410Y-4 that is similar to it.
It could be that your spool roller is mounted too high and too much of the boat's weight is resting on it instead of the bunks of the boat and that is why it is getting damaged.
