Best Way to Use Heat Shrink for Wiring

Do you just use the heat from a hair dryer to shrink the tubing over your electrical connection or splice?

The best way to use heat shrink like the part # DW05449 is to use a heat gun. A heat gun is similar to a blow dryer except it is MUCH hotter. A blow dryer won't get hot enough.
In a pinch you could use a candle. Trick is to get the flame close enough that it will melt the heat shrink but won't burn it.
