TracRac Sliding Ladder Rack Recommendation for a 2010 Ford F-150 Short Bed

Question:

I was looking at the tracrac TA21501-02 for my 2010 Ford F-150 XLT with a 6-1/2 ft. bed. Since the rack fits in the stake pockets, I was wondering if all trucks have stake pockets. My truck has side rails installed, and there are no pop-out locations. I am fine drilling through the plastic, but want to make sure it will attach if purchased. I cannot lift the rails to see if they are there or not. Thanks.

Sounds like you have a bed rail cover that does not have cutouts built into it to allow access to the stake pockets. TracRac says their # TH43002XT-501 is a fit for your 2010 Ford F-150 so I would recommend it for you. You would need to remove the bed rail covers to access the stake pockets though.
