Is this lock a Key retaining lock? I have been searching for a key retaining cable lock. Do you have any suggestions?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The lock core of the Saris Cable Lock # SA981 has a spring in it so that it always wants to return to the locked position. You would have to twist the key to get the core to unlatch the lock so that you can release the latch, but then it will automatically go back to the locked position.
You can remove the key when in the unlocked position.
