If your boat and trailer together weigh 7,000 pounds, that could mean you have a tongue weight over 1,000 pounds. In this scenario, I would not recommend the Fulton Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack, # FEJ1000, as it has a max capacity of 1,000 pounds. Instead I would go with the next step up to be on the safe side.
Take a look at the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack w/ Caster - Sidewind - 10 inch Lift - 1,200 lbs, # FXP10. This is very similar to the jack you referenced but it has a capacity of 1,200 pounds.
If you determine that your gross trailer weight and tongue will be even higher, I would go with the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack - Bolt On - Sidewind - 10 inch Lift - 1,500 lbs, # FXP15. This jack is like the previous two; bolt through design, sidewind, swivel jack. But it has a capacity of 1,500 pounds.
