Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2002 Dodge Ram Van

Concerning: Hollywood Bike Rack HRSR1 It is a strap-on spare tire bike carrier. I have a 2002 Dodge Ram Van on which the spare tire is mounted on the back door about 9.5inch to the left of center toward the hinge of the door. The spare tire is also covered with a substantial hard cover. Is this rack adjustable enough to center the bike in a 50inch door? Can I use it over the existing hard tire cover?

You can use the Hollywood Racks SR1 Bike Rack part # HRSR1 on a vehicle that has an off-center spare tire, but since yours has a cover on it this would not be the correct rack to use unless you were okay with removing the cover.
You would first need to start with a hitch if you do not have one already. For that you would want the part # 13015 as it has been confirmed as a fit for your vehicle.
