Looking for a Class II hitch with a 2inch receiver. 2015 VW Golf Sportwagen. Do you have anything?

Because of the size and capabilities of the 2015 VW Golf SportWagen there is only a Class I trailer hitch available, # C11411, and it is a fit for TDI models. Class I and II trailer hitches have 1-1/4 inch receivers. There are no 2 inch hitches available and based on the vehicle it is unlikely anyone will make a 2 inch hitch for it.

It sounds like you already have an accessory that fits a 2 inch hitch. You could use an adapter, # HTAD, to use the 2 inch accessory with the Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitch. However, doing so will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the hitch by 50 percent (from 200 to 100 pounds on # C11411).

Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch. Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or car go carrier) per their warranty requirements.
