Question:
I HAVE A CURT FIFTH WHEEL IN MY 2008 F150, I NOW HAVE A 1997 DODGE RAM 2500 WITH A 8 FOOT BED, I NEED A NEW RAIL KIT, I PREFER A CUSTOM KIT WITH LITTLE OR NO DRILLING, I HAVE LOOKED AT HT31404-686 AND DM8552009-71, WHICH DO YOU RECOMMEND

Either of the rail kits you referenced would work well in your 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with an 8 foot bed. You should note that while these rail kits are listed as custom fit kits they will install more like a universal one as the L-brackets are the same as the universal kits.
Because of that I would go with the Reese universal rail kit part # RP30035 as it has the best price and would work well with your Curt hitch.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
