For a brake controller for your 2015 Chevy Colorado I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
Since you have the factory tow package with the 7-way this will connect to the brake controller wires that you have under the dash of your vehicle.
