How to Lock the Thule 593 Wheel-On Bike Wheel Carrier to a Roof Rack

Is there anyway to temporarily lock this hand nut Knob M6 Low on the M6 carriage bolt of the 593 Wheel-ON Wheel Carrier to prevent theft of the carrier from the car roof? TH593

The easiest way to lock a wheel and the # TH593 to a cross bar would be to use a cable lock like the part # 8291DPS. This is a pretty short cable lock at 3 feet that also has a no-scratch sleeve on it to protect the paint on the roof of your vehicle.
