Question:
Torklift F3006 rear tie downs. One side of my tie downs has the slots cut in to the mounting plate where the turnbuckles attach. The other side is just the solid hole - no cuts. Does that make a difference? Thanks

Thank you for your recent purchase of TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLF3006.
According to my contact at TorkLift the small notches that can appear on some of these turnbuckle mounting holes are simply "artifacts" of the plasma cutting process and are of no consequence in terms of your installation. It is just likely that these plates were cut at different points in the production run.
Each of the turnbuckle mounting plates (four in total when using both front and rear tie-down kits) will have two openings at different heights to provide flexibility for the best turnbuckle fit in a range of installations.
If you like you can add the protective vinyl finish cap kit # TLA7009 to keep dirt out of the tie downs when they are not in use.
