Hello Tracey.
I have a great hitch for your 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara. I would get the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13001. This hitch has a 2" receiver, can handle a 350 pound tongue weight, and a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
If you plan on using the hitch for some light towing, or for a hitch mounted accessory with lights you will also want to get the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 56002. For installation you want to use some dielectric grease for the connectors, if you don't have some already # 11755 will get the job done. Also, for a clean looking install don't forget to grab a Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144.
If you don't already have a ball mount, then make sure you get the etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball - 2" Hitch - 2" Drop - 7,500 lbs # e67DR. Our 2" etrailer ball comes in a black nickel plating which gives it a sleek design.
