Question:

I purchased the Erickson Rachet tie downs for my car hauler. They came with Axle Straps #58505. These axle straps did not come with a protective sleeve. I have only used them 3 times on hauls of less than 50 miles and they are already starting to wear. I noticed that Erickson also makes a axle strap with a protective cover #88509. Can I get just the protective cover to slide over the straps I have already purchased?

The only way to get the sleeves of the part # 88509 is to order them. They aren't available as a separate part.

We do have a similar sleeve though, part # EM06305. This is used to protect painted surfaces, but it also protects the strap.
