Question:
I have a 20ft cobalt inboard/outboard ski boat and the trailer width is 1-3/4 by 4 inch will this work with this trailer?? it is also a inverted u design instead of a closed box design trailer frame . in other words the frame has three sides top and two sides vs a closed box design of top two sides and bottom. Im looking at the ce smith 60 lighted trailer guide on thanks for your help.

Expert Reply:
It sounds like your trailer frame is made of C-channel. The CE Smith Lighted Post-Style Guide-Ons attach to the trailer frame using U-bolts, so it should work just fine with your trailer. The U-bolts are compatible with trailer frames up to 3 inches wide and 4-1/4 inches tall.
You can see a product description video for the Guide-Ons by clicking the provided link.
