Helpful Expert Reply:
You may have to trim the fascia on your 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 to install the Curt front mount trailer hitch # C31069, depending on how the front bumper is mounted to the frame. This varies with each individual vehicle.
The best way to determine if trimming is required is to raise the hitch into position. If needed, mark and trim the lower fascia or remove lower fascia. (See the linked installation instructions for the fascia trim detail).
I have also included a photo of this hitch installed on a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 for you to check out.
