Its easy to check the fit of the Kuat Trio roof-mount bike carrier on your Subaru's factory crossbars. Just measure their width and height. As long as the bars are not larger than 3-1/2-wide x 1-11/16-inches tall then the Trio # TR02 will fit fine.
This rack can handle up to a 45-lb bike with tires up to 4-inches wide.
For an easier installation process, you may want to consider a wheel-mounted bike rack style instead of the cumbersome fork-mount of the Trio. I recommend the Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack # TH599000. This rack fits bikes with wheelbases up to 48" long and tire up to 3 inches wide between 20" - 29" in diameter. The clamps fit crossbars up to 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall.
