Can this tailgate handle be painted to match body color?

The Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock with Handle, # PAL1700, has a handle which is made of ABS plastic. ABS plastic can be painted so I don't see any reason that you couldn't paint the handle to match the color of your 2012 Chevrolet Colorado. Since we have not personally tested it, I do recommend contacting your local body shop to see if they use a special process or have specific instructions to follow to ensure that you are satisfied with the final product.
