The Redline 14K capacity A-Frame Coupler, part # CA5400 you referred to measures 11 inches wide at its widest point, like the A-Frame coupler you showed in the photo you provided (thanks for the photo, by the way.)
The # CA5400 is compatible with 2-5/16 inch trailer balls, and would make an excellent replacement for your current corroded A-Frame coupler.
