You recommend this roof mounting system for my 2008 Taurus X, but the only the front rail on this vehicle has access for your mounts. The rear of the Taurus X is flush mounted against the roof. What do you recommend? Thanks,

The Thule Roof Rack you referenced that consists of part numbers # TH711420 and # TH710401 has been confirmed to fit your 2008 Ford Taurus X. Due to the design of your roof rack you will only be able to have a crossbar spread of 27 inches. But according to my contact at Thule you still will get the full capacity of the roof rack and can use long watersports carriers if needed.
