How Close to Trailer Ramp Does Rack'em Double Barrel Trailer Tailgate Assist # RA-27C Need to Be
Question:
On your double barrel tailgate lift how close to the end of the top rail does it need to be? The gate latches on my trailer are on the very end of top rail on each side.

When installing the Rack'em Double Barrel Trailer Tailgate Assist # RA-27C on a trailer you want the unit to be as close to the end of the rail as possible meaning that you want to be as close to the ramp as possible on the side rails as it can be without interfering with the latches or pins that secure the ramp in the upright position.
For more info check out the install video I attached as well.
