Can Posts on Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk # CC-275 Be Cut Down to Use on Pop-Up Camper

Would the Bike Bunk work on a pop up if the posts could be cut down, and is there enough room to do so? Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Stromberg Carlson and each of the upright tubes on the Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Carrier for A-Frame Trailers, # CC-275, can be cut down a maximum of 4 inches. This would put the bike bunk top cross tube at 29-1/2 inches from the top of the A-frame.

In addition to the bike bunk, you will need a bike rack like the Swagman Original, # S64400, to carry your bicycles.
