I want to know what pressure on the Easy ride on axles, for my Fiat Champ 2.2 4 berth campervan 2005

Rear axle air springs like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2071 can be operated with pressures that range from the minimum 5-psi (which is necessary at all times) up to 100-psi depending on the vehicle and load requirements. Firestone does not give specific pressure recommendations for any particular vehicles or applications because there are so many variables as well as driver preferences to consider.

The general rule is to first inflate just enough to level the vehicle, then drive and test higher and lower pressures until you arrive at a satisfactory point for a level ride and comfortable ride quality. This is largely a matter of personal preference and you are free to inflate anywhere between the 5-psi minimum and the 100-psi maximum. Please note that no air spring kit can increase your vehicle's weight capacity, which remains as per the manufacturer's original specs.

The easiest way to find your ideal pressure is to use a compressor kit like Level Command # F2097 and adjust the spring pressure while you drive. If you want to be able to adjust each spring individually (to level uneven weight loads) you'll need a dual path compressor kit like # F2219.
