Question:
wouldnt you think that toyota would use the same wire harness for all trucks. cost more to make seperate harness based on options

The K Source custom towing mirrors # KIS70103-04T will actually use the factory connections for electric, turn signal and heat functions. Please note that your current electric mirrors must have the turn signal and heat functions in order for the new K Source mirror turn signal and heat functions to work.
There is more to it than just the wiring harness, including but not limited to the proper fuses and relays on your Toyota Tundra. Also, some vehicles will not have the wiring for all the features in the connector or the wiring will not go to anywhere in the vehicle.
