Question:
Ive asked a couple questions already, but I need to know with certainty before I order. Does this hitch fit on a 1998 Taurus with a dual exhaust. Your website says it does not. A competitors website suggests it fits on all Taurus models but does not fit on Mercury Sables with dual exhaust. Your previous answer suggests the instructions do not say anything about not fitting on models with a dual exhaust. Obviously, there is conflicting information. I just want to make sure before I order. Thanks for your help.

I spoke with my contact over at Curt and he said that for a 1998 Ford Taurus with dual exhaust trailer hitch # C12232 will fit. If you plan on doing some towing the correct ball mount is # C45522 and for a 1-7/8 inch ball use # C40001 and for a 2 inch ball use # C40018.
For trailer wiring use # HM40565 if you have a sedan and use # HM48895 if you have a wagon.
