Replacement 1-1/2 to 2 Inch Adapter Sleeve for Yakima DoubleDown Ace Bike Carriers

Question:
I purchased and just received the 2inch hitch adapter for my Yakima Double Down Ace 4 bike rack hitch mount # Y8890174, however it does not seem to work. First, the full wrap around design makes the wobble preventer completely usesless. Secondly, the holes do not allign such that you can the safety pin. Both holes the set screw and pin hole on the adpater are on the bottom. The 1.25inch shank on the bike rack are such that the set screw hole is on the bottom and the pin hole is on the side. Do you have another 2inch adapter that I can exchange that would work with my Yakima 1.25inch hitch mount rack?

If you have a DoubleDown Ace then you would need adapter # Y8890342 and not # Y8890174 which is for the original DoubleDown (the Ace models came later). That is the issue, just need to use the proper adapter for Ace models, # Y8890342.
