Can the Roadmaster Falcon 5250 be used to tow our 2005 PT Cruiser behind our RV. Is the baseplate kit 278-1 compatable to use with this tow bar? Thank you

I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster and he confirmed that the Roadmaster Falcon 5250 is the older version of # RM-520. The Roadmaster Falcon 5250 is a confirmed fit with Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 278-1.
You will also need safety cables, # RM-643, and a lighting solution such as # RM-2120.
And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the easiest systems to set up and use is the Even Brake proportional system # RM-9400. It will apply the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the easiest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
