Will Derale Transmission Filter Kit Restrict Oil Flow To Transmission

Could you install this kit on a 2002 Acura rsx without restricting the oil flow to the transmission? Would there be any issues? Why does it show an extra port that looks like you could add a temp senor, but when recieved no extra port.

The oil filter that comes with Derale Remote Transmission Filter Kit, # D13090, functions the same way as the oil filter for the engine oil on your 2002 Acura RSX, so no it will not restrict oil flow to the transmission.
The kit includes 3/8 inch NPT x 3/8 inch barb fittings for the hose. It also comes with an Insta-dapt adapter to tap into the lines and the filter nipple is a 3/4-16 and fits the included filter.
The extra port for the temperature gauge is located on the Derale Remote Transmission Filter Kit w/ Temperature Gauge. That part is # D13091.
For future reference the replacement filter will be # D13092.
