Can Derale Remote Transmission Filter Kit be Installed on Supply Line
Updated 12/22/2025 | Published 10/20/2024 >
Question:
I’d like to put the filter on the supply side, before the cooler, to keep contaminates out of the coolers. Does it matter if it’s on supply or return?

Hey Daniel, thanks for reaching out!
According to the instructions for the Derale Remote Transmission Filter Kit # D13090 the filter actually should be installed on the supply line so you'll be just fine doing so. The diagram on our page needs to be updated so you'll want to refer to the one in the instructions instead (see attached photo).
