How to Install a Brake Controller in a 2015 Coachman 28QB RV Built on GM Express Van 4500

I just purchased a 2015 Coachman 28QB RV with a GM Express Van 4500 front end. Im looking to install a brake controller. From a search on your web site I see the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller may work. Do you have any specific instructions on how to install this brake controller in my RV? I contacted Coachman and the Express Van is not wired for plug and go for a brake controller so Im thinking that I will have to tap into an existing wiring harness to get the P3 wired in. The RV has a 7-way tow plug on the back so Im thinking some of the wiring is already there. Also, FYI - I am looking to tow a trailer with two axles. Thanks for the guidance,

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This controller would work well with the amount of axles you have.
Next, for a wiring kit to install the brake controller to the 7-way you would want the Wiring Kit for 2 and 4 Brake Electric Brake Controllers # 5506. This will provide the power source and ground for the wiring for the brake controller. You will need to test the wires from the brake pedal switch of your vehicle to find a circuit that has voltage when the brakes are applied and none when not applied. This will be the circuit you will run the red wire to.
Finally you will need to run a length of 10 gauge wire (part # 10-1-1) from the brake output circuit of the controller to the brake output circuit of 7-way (blue wire). The # 10-1-1 is sold by the foot so you will need to order a quantity of the amount of feet you will need.
