When installing a transmission cooler on a vehicle like the # D13504 on your 2008 Chevy Avalanche you will want to route the fluid first through your factory transmission cooler and then finally through the supplemental cooler before it returns to the transmission. Factory coolers will actually raise (or lower) the transmission fluid to the same temperature as the engine coolant since the coolers are integrated into the radiator.
If you were to route the supplemental cooler before the factory one you would actually end up cooling the fluid and then re-heating it back up to what it was before which would defeat the purpose of installing a supplemental cooler. That is why you route the supplemental cooler after.
For more info on cooler installations check out the FAQ article I attached on the subject.
The items you selected would be all that you would need to install the cooler. Part # D13504, # D13003 and # D13035.
