2011 Mazda CX9 5-Way Trailer Wiring Recommendation

Question:

I see you have only listed the 4 way flat for the 2011 Mazda CX9. but what If i need a 5 way for a boat trailer the has the 5th wire to trigger the reverse solenoid? do you have a harness for that?

You will need to start with a 4-way on your 2009 Mazda CX-9 and then convert it to a 5-way. This is the easiest way since there is a custom fit 4-way wiring harness for your vehicle, part # 56016.

Next you will need to install the part # 20036. This will convert the 4-way to a 5-way so that your reverse lockout solenoid will activate on your boat trailer. The fifth wire will get run to the reverse light circuit of your tow vehicle like the install video I attached for this product demonstrates.
