Question:

From what I have read on your website, I believe this part will fit my 2008 Tacoma bed and the tailgate compliment. I have the 5 ft bed and it came with a hard plastic cargo liner when I bought it new. Is the latter the composite you refer to in the Product Expert response? If this Bedrug mat works, I would like to order it. I would appreciate a confirmation on the appropriate fit of this bed mat. Thanks

If the plastic liner is just a bed liner then that is not the same thing as a composite bed. Composite beds are modular, more than 1 piece, and not made entirely of metal. If it is the factory liner that is fixed, part of the bed, then you can use a bed mat.

With that said the BedRug custom truck bed mat # BMY05DCS is listed as a fit for your 2008 Toyota Tacoma with 5 foot bed. If you do have the drop-in bed liner it will have to be removed to use the bed mat.

The optional tailgate mat, # BMY05TG, is sold separately.
