Question:
Does your top need rails installed on a Honda Ridgeline, and do these rails impede the opening of the Trunk lid in the bed of the truck?

The TruXedo Lo Pro QT Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover, # TX520601, does require the use of rails to install and operate. A portion of the rear of the cover does require installation in the tailgate which would change normal use of your tailgate. The cover latch has to be disengaged to open the tailgate. The cover seals against the tailgate with a latching header. A simple trigger latch releases the header to allow for quick roll-up. The Tonneau cover will need to be rolled back for access to the trunk portion in the bed. The trunk lid can be opened 85 percent of the way before it makes contact with the rails that hold the cover. I have included the instructions below.
