How to Determine the Right Size Spare Tire Cover

Question:

how do you measure the inches for the spare tire cover? Cannot find anything specific to tire size. Also, do you have any camo tire covers?

The inch measurements on spare tire covers such as # RA773215 indicate the overall tire diameter or height. This particular cover fits a tire that is 30 to 32 inches tall. If you can tell me your tire size I can determine the proper size cover.

Or you can do the math. Let's say you have a 225/75-15 tire size. Take the first number and multiply by 0.0394 (225 x 0.0394 = 8.865). Then multiply the result by 0.75 (8.865 x 0.75 = 6.648).
Next, multiply by 2 (6,648 x 2 = 13.29). And last, add the wheel diameter, in this case 15 (13.29 + 15 = 28.29). That 28.29 is the tire diameter/height, give or take a fraction of an inch.

We have a lot of spare tire covers, see link to the right, but none in camo at this time.

Can you tell me what your exact tire size is? There should be a size listing printed right on the tire's side wall.

@KelliB Oh no! I hope it's at least feeling better now. Your 255/70R18 tire has an overall diameter of JUST over 32", so the Classic Accessories # 052963753875 will work perfectly.
