Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1998 GMC C/K Series Truck with 37 inch Frame
Published 12/15/2014 >
Question:
I am looking at the 10000 lb Curt hitch for a 98 GMC. I noticed some are for 34 inch frames, mine is 37. Are the ones that dont have a size listed for 37 inch frames?

The hitches that are listed for the 1998 GMC trucks with 34 inch frames are the ones that are designed to fit the cab and chassis models.
The # C14081 that you referenced would work well on your truck with a 37 inch frame since it is not a cab and chassis model and is a standard truck. Check out the install video I attached to the right for more info.
