Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Pollak 7-pole round RV-style trailer connector socket. Now, this is built for reliable towing. This 7-way plug features floating pins for easy alignment and has a weather-resistant high-impact nylon housing to make sure that your wiring's gonna hold up. So the 7-pole round design is going to help ensure a minimum voltage drop along with the solid brass terminal pins that you see there. And this mount's at a slant, so any moisture that gets into the housing's gonna drain easily because of the slant.
So you're not gonna have to worry about your terminals drowning in moisture or water. This is going to work with 16 to eight gauge wires, and it's gonna be a pretty simple install. You might be interested in some measurements here. Lemme see what I can do for you. So it looks like we're sitting at the width, pretty close to four inches wide.
The height, about three inches. And the depth, about an inch and a half or so. Just to give you a good idea of the size. The lid here is spring-loaded, so that's going to close and have a firm enclosure there to keep those pins clean when they're not in use. But I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Just replacing sockets that are over 20 years odd. impressive product
