Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System with this color display and the two cap tire sensors. Now this TPMS system is gonna let you monitor your vehicle's tire pressure and temperature via this included color display. It does also work great with your motor home, your fifth wheel, or your trailer. And just to show you, when we turn this on, you'll be able to see the color display, and then it goes right to the part where you're gonna set your settings. Now this part will include everything laid out here on the table.
It's gonna include this color display. It includes this cradle mount that won't move on your dash. You can just set that in there like that. It'll hold it in place. Or it gives you an option of this suction cup mount that again, you can use for your dash, or you can flip it over, use it on your windshield.
It also comes with the 12 volt power adapter right here with a micro USB cable, it'll allow you to charge this display. Comes with the two cap sensors we mentioned, and it comes with some theft-resistant hardware with the wrenches to keep people from taking these off your tire stems. And then over here is a repeater with the mounting hardware. Now the monitor itself we mentioned, it is a color widescreen monitor, provides early warning detection with visual and audible alerts. This will detect blowouts, significant pressure changes, and tire temperatures exceeding 158 degrees.
It will refresh automatically with new tire information every five minutes. And the presets on it'll let you monitor up to four trailers or 115 tires with additional sensors, which we do sell separately. Overall width on this is about four and a half inches wide, three inches tall, about an inch deep. And as we mentioned, the multiple mounts right here will allow optimal monitor positioning. You can use this easy-to-use suction cup mount, this lets you stick the monitors we mentioned to either your windshield, you just hook it on that way and hook it to your windshield and it adjusts, or you can flip it over this way, hook it up, and it'll go to your dashboard.
And then the cradle mount right over here, it's a non-slip rubber cradle mount. So this will let you set your monitor on the dashboard for easy viewing. Now the two cap sensors right here, these are what'll check your tower pressure and temperature every 12 seconds. They are a brass construction. They are designed for use on both metal and rubber valve stems. And they're very easy installation onto your tires' valve stems. Just to show you, I happen to pull, this happens to be a rubber valve stem, but you take your cap off and then you can just screw them on just like that. Now if you're worried about somebody removing these, they do include this theft-resistant hardware with these wrenches. And the idea on those is you'll put these lock nuts on there first, then you'll put your sensor on. And then once your sensor's tightened down, you'll take one of these wrenches, and it allows you to tighten down that lock nut up onto the sensor so nobody can just pop them right off. Helps keep them anybody from taking them. Now the pressure range on these sensors is gonna be one PSI to 218 PSI. The battery that's on the inside, the battery life is about one to one and a half years. They are very easy. If you just unscrew that cap, you can replace the battery. And then we did mention the micro USB cable and the adapter. This will let you charge the monitor with your vehicle's 12 volt accessory outlet. Now the battery life on this is about five days to seven days on a full charge. And the recharge time is about four hours. And the last part we're gonna talk about is this repeater. This repeater will install to help strengthen your sensor signal from the sensor to the monitor and eliminates any electronic interference. Does include a 57 inch long wire. But that's gonna do it for a look at this TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System with the color display and the two cap tire sensors.
TST 770 installed effortlessly. Watched an 8 min YouTube just to double check. First trip with them drove 10 hours, can see how the tire temp and pressure rises. Need to lower my cold pressure a little.
