These 10' straps anchor your Thule HideAway awning so it won't sustain damage from storms and high winds. Straps hook to the support legs of your awning and anchor to the included ground pegs. Does not impede use of side and front panels.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the hold-down, side-strap kit for the Thule hideaway awnings. This strap kit simply prevents your Thule hideaway awning from sustaining significant damage due to storms or high winds. It accommodates front and side hideaway panels. It's a quick and easy set up and installation without ever needing to touch the awning fabric, so that way you don't have to worry about potentially damaging the fabric by touching it or handling it. All you've got to do is clip one end of the strap to the upper attachment point on the support leg. And then use the tension spring to clip the other end of the strap to the ground peg.When it comes to the construction of the straps, we're looking at a tough yet very lightweight nylon construction.
It's designed to resist tears and abrasions. With this kit, you can see everything that you get laid out here on the table. I have one strap assembled together. The other one is not. So you do get two straps.
You get the ground pegs, tension springs, attachment clips, and you get a nice storage bag included to keep everything contained and stowed when it's not being used.Each strap measures ten feet long. It does have the nice cam buckle design right here. And so what that does is the cam buckle allows you to pull the strap through one way to tighten it. And then it has these little teeth right here which prevents back feeding so it will not loosen up until that lever is pressed. Then you can loosen the tension.
So, nice effective design. Again, two straps, ground pegs, tension springs, attachment clips and storage bag are all included with this kit. That's going to do it for today's look at the hold-down, side-strap kit for the Thule hideaway awnings.

The hold down side straps work perfectly and are so easy to setup. Really well made and I would recommend this to anyone with a HideAway Awning. Also recommend purchasing the Tension Rafter in addition to this. They provide peace of mind, knowing that our awning is secure and stable when it gets windy.
Great tie down system for my Thule Awning. Quality product at a great price from etrailer.
