84 x 18 Heavy-duty plow with thick rubber cutting edge self-adjusts up and down to smoothly clear a path over concrete, gravel, and grass. Side scoops catch more snow with each push. Aluminum blade can be manually angled to either side.
Features:
Specs:
Installation is quick and simple - just slide included shank assembly into your 2" receiver and secure with pin.
Then lift the blade, one end at a time, onto the frame's holders and fasten with snap pins.
The SnowSport HD blade is mounted on an angled, 3-position shank assembly, allowing you to plow to the left, to the right or straight ahead.
To plow, lower the blade and begin driving; no wiring or hydraulics are needed. The unique push frame on the shank assembly allows the blade to move along the grade of the terrain for easier, more efficient plowing. The heavy-duty rubber cutting edge is effective yet turf friendly, collecting snow and squeegeeing slush without digging into the ground.
When you reverse direction, the blade lies back, skimming over the surface of the ground so that you can easily take another pass.
Once you're finished plowing, just lift the blade and refasten into the travel position. The blade is secure enough to travel at highway speeds, and the low-profile design keeps it from blocking your vehicle's headlights. Removal for storage is quick and easy. The plow can be used on the rear of your vehicle, making it a cinch to back out of your snow-packed driveway.

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at e-trailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt Front hitch on a 2020 Ford F350 Super Duty. Now front hitch is traditionally on trucks. You see them for snowplows or winches, things along that lines for work. But a lot of times you'll start to see vehicles, especially trucks with the front hitch and a bike rack. And as our neighbor's doing here, they're gonna have two e-bikes up front. And this is a great way to just get more storage out of your vehicle.
That way if you're loading up for an adventure, you can utilize the front real estate as well. Now speaking of utilizing, this does have pretty high weight capacity, so it has a gross trailer weight rating of 5,000 pounds and you also have a tongue weight rating of 500 pounds. So that's gonna be pretty solid, especially if you do have those e-bikes being heavy, 500 pounds should be plenty. It also has a line pull of 9,000. So if you're pulling some trees down or helping winch someone off the road, anything like that, that's gonna be a nice capacity to really get the most out of this hitch.
Now when you get those accessories in place, you're gonna have a five eighths pin and clip to keep that in there. Now it does not come with one. A lot of your accessories when you pick those up will come with the pin and clip, but if you want to get a locking one, that way you can leave your accessories on here and know that they're not gonna disappear in the hands of someone else. We have plenty of options available here at e-trailer. Now when choosing those accessories, you're gonna wanna make sure that you have clearance on the front of your truck.
So measuring from the center of the hitchpin hole to the furthest point on the front fascia here, it's gonna be about eight inches. So that's something to keep in mind when choosing those accessories. Make sure that they do extend out far enough to have that clearance. Now as far as ground clearance goes, from the top of the receiver tube to the ground, it's looking about nine and a half inches. So it's relatively low.
Something to keep in mind, you might want to grab some accessories that go up. That way you're not dragging low on the ground. And also as you come up to an embankment or a slope, you wanna make sure that you don't damage your accessories while going up those hills. Now, as far as the installation goes, it's actually pretty easy. You're utilizing two factory nut plates and if your truck doesn't have it, it comes with all the hardware and you just fish wire those in place, lift it up, bolt it down, torque it, and you're ready to go. So I'm gonna walk you through that installation and that way you can get your front hitch installed. And we're gonna start our installation underneath the front air dam area and that's where we're gonna find some nut plates that are part of the fascia bracket. Now I'm up on the lift and that's so you guys can see this at home but this is really something that can be done in your driveway. So pretty much with a basic set of hand tools we'll be able to get this done. And first we're gonna start by knocking out these two inner bolts. We're gonna take these nuts off and this is a nut plate. Now your truck may or may not have them and if that's the case, you can skip this step, because we'll use hardware later on. But if you do have them, we're gonna retain this nut plate and use that to actually mount up our front hitch. So we'll go ahead and get these removed on both sides and the nut plate more than likely will fall into the frame rail, but we'll be able to retrieve that. Now if your truck doesn't have this nut plate, what you'll be doing is fishing these in place, a carriage bolt with this spacer block and you use a fish wire technique in order to accomplish that. And we'll be doing that later on in this step. So if you don't have that, I'll show you how to get this accomplished. But what I'm gonna do right now is take one of those fish wires and just coil it over our nut plate. And that's just gonna kind of keep this in place when we raise it up. And that way we can also make room for the hitch. So this can actually get pushed into the frame but our wire's gonna hold it in place and that way when we need it, we can just pull this up and get this pulled through the frame rail again. Now we're gonna go over to the driver's side and we'll do the same thing. Now we're just tackling these inner ones. There's ones on the outside as well but our hitch is gonna mount up in this portion. So these are the only ones we have to worry about. We also have this plastic plug here on the frame rail which could get in the way. This is just a plastic plug here that plugs into the frame. You can see that actually slide out of there. And what you can do is take a trim , a flathead, and pry this out. Now I do believe there is a spot on the front hitch that we're going to be able to relocate this. So make sure you hold onto this. We're gonna create a mounting stud here for the hitch to mount up. And the way to do that is gonna be that fish wire technique that I just explained and it's gonna be really easy. You take this coiled end of the wire and feed it through this bottom hole here on the frame to the front. And that frame opening will allow us to pass our hardware up. So I'll go ahead and take our spacer block here and you can just kind feed that up or hold it in place. And then coil your carriage bolt on there. And that's gonna allow us to pull this through. Might have to jostle around a little bit. And then this is going to be our mounting point. Now keep your wires on here, that way when you're pushing the hitch up, if you bump this, you're not gonna have to heat it out of the frame rail. So I'll go ahead and get this on the other side as well. And we're gonna need to trim to give clearance for that center or that receiver tube to fit into this front air dam. And I've measured this out just using the instruction manual as reference. And I've used painter's tape to just kind of give me some guidelines as cutting. Now you could probably get away using some shears here but for a nice clean cut, I use my oscillating tool. You can use a dremel as well, whatever works best for you. But we'll go ahead, get this trimmed out and then I'm gonna file these edges down and make it look nice and clean. So I'm just gonna go back with the file and get these off. So now with an extra set of hands, we're gonna go ahead and raise this up in place. Now I'm gonna take my corresponding fish wires and feed them through. And that way when we raise this in place, we'll be ready to get this held up on its own support. So the nut plates you may have to kind of push into the frame for a second, but your fish wire will draw this back out. So as you raise it, just kind of pull this through, get that stud on the nut plate to feed in and once you get this raised and lined up with that hole, once you feed this through, that's gonna support this and we can go ahead and grab our nuts and get this hand tightened on. The fish wire's still attached. I'm gonna go ahead and take our new hardware here and then feed this on the nut plate. That's gonna hold it in place. We can go ahead, pull our fish wire off and get this on and then we'll do the same on our bottom. And just kind of hold onto the threads a little bit and we then push up. And then once you get your thread started that should be good. So we'll go ahead and get the rest of the hardware on the other side also hand tightened on. Now once we got this hitch in place, you can see that they really told us to cut off quite a bit of access here that was unnecessary and that's kind of unfortunate. So looking ahead when you're installing yours, you may only need to trim maybe half an inch to kind of get that clearance. So you can do however you want just to kind of get that nice clean fit. But I wouldn't cut all the way. You might even be able to mock fit it up to see where yours sits. But again, about half an inch should be more than enough. I'm gonna go back with a three quarter inch socket and I'm gonna go ahead, I'll tighten these bottom ones up first. That way it kind of snugs it up all the way. So now I'm gonna just come back with my torque wrench here and using the torque setting in the instruction manual, we're gonna go ahead and get all of our hardware torqued properly. Now if you need a torque wrench, we have these available here at e-trailer. You can generally rent them at an auto parts store as well. It's gonna make sure that our threads are not too tight, causing stress on them but also it's not gonna become loose over time. So go ahead and get all of our hardware properly torqued down. So now we have everything torqued down properly and we're gonna take our plug and there's gonna be a slot right here that's gonna allow us to push this in and that's gonna hold that in place. So now all that's left to do is get our truck down, ready to go and hook up to our front hitch. And that was a look and installation of the Curt Front hitch on a 2020 Ford F350 Super Duty..

Perfect for winches, spare tire carriers and more.Do not follow the instructions for cutting the air dam. I cut mine 3" wide and 3 1/2 " tall. It was still a little wide. It goes without saying "you can always enlarge it but can't make the hole smaller." The poor instructions kept me from giving it 5 stars. I was able to put black silicon around the cut. Other than that it went on fine and seems to be sturdy. I chose the curt because it was lower and a bicycle rack would not stick up as high,
Delivery was quick, a really easy installation I did myself.
Perfect for carry rack, spare tire, winch and moving my trailer!

Works great and when not being used its basically out of sight on the front of the truck!
Love this front mount receiver hitch, great solution for mounting my winch, but will likely use it for a front mounted bike rack and other things in the future. Very heavy duty. Install was a breeze, but you do have to cut a small hole in the front apron for it to exit through. I used my multi-tool for a nice clean cut.
The customer service I received was great. I was in Nashville when my bike rack actually broke the welds on my fifth wheel bumper. I needed to purchase and install a front receiver for my F350. We were only staying in Nashville for 5 days so I needed the hitch shipped quickly. James R was my customer service rep. James had the hitch to me in one day. He also sent me a how to install video. The installation went well. I am 65 and was able to do the install with a little help from my floor jack.
Great experience
I installed a large tool box for extra storage during an extended trip to Utah. The hitch was no problem and I minimized lateral movement by strapping the box frame to my tow hooks and it worked great. I will be installing a front motorcycle carrier in the future
Product arrived in a damaged box (handlers) but the sturdiness of the product and proactive taping of the hardware to the receiver prevented any parts from being lost.
Installation video was helpful. Instruction from manufacturer assume you know all terminology. Installation times shown are questionable. Two retired IT engineers completed the install in approx 3.5 hours. We decided to take off air dam to have better access to the bolts holding the fascias.
Getting a torque wrench on the "joined / reused bolts" was challenging as it is a one click on the ratchet.
Super pleased with the outcome and installation we accomplished. Going to use this to haul a pair of ebikes using a Swagman Ebike contraption. :-) Will mostly likely add a 4" drop adapter to lower the bikes out of the field of view while driving.
Have installed a 10,000 lb winch in the front receiver and it is working perfectly.

Its just as good today as the day it was mounted,a great product
Definitely a quality item, very satisfied with it. My truck is a 2X4 so has a smaller air foil below the bumper and it did not require cutting, there's a 1/32 to 1/16 inch gap between the two. I used some wood blocking to support it for the install and checked the paperwork and my measurements a few times thinking that I might have the wrong part because when the hitch was supported by the hardware there was about a 5/16 gap on both sides, had to draw that in by tightening each side alternately. All in all good. The hitch has the mounting holes needed for existing items that you will move to fit it in. Took me 4 hours to install including sizing the wood blocking that I used to support it. Also because I had to tighten each side a little at a time to close the gaps, tough work on the thick plate that is used to make the hitch. Extremely happy with the hitch including the access to the pin. Definitely glad I got it, definitely glad I got it here as well, on my porch in three days :)
Love the hitch took about a hours to install , I didn't rush or have help, went together easy self explanatory if you a little mechanical inclined. Look forward to mounting trap and winch in next couple days and using maybe in the next couple weeks. Thank you very well built, package was tore open in shipping not sure if can be packaged better but I not really care it a reciever it going to get beat up anyways!
Carrying mountain bikes on 3 year cross country Airstream trip and this front mount system is great... no issues so far. Keep lubricated and periodically check threaded pin and life is good!
Kudos to E-Trailer for fast delivery. Due to the weight the box was beat up pretty bad, but no damage to the hitch. Quality hardware included as well as fish wires to get the hidden bolts into place. The measurements for cutting the slot in the air dam were wrong as far as I was concerned. The instructions said to cut 4 inches up and 3 1/2 inches wide. As you can see by the pictures, 4 inches up is too much. The top should be cut right where the curve at the top of the air dam cross feature is. I did install this by myself. A helper would have been a good idea. If you choose to install this solo, get the supplied bolts that hang down vertical started loosely first to carry the weight of the hitch. Then you can maneuver the hitch to line up the holes for the side bolts. Once everything is tight the hitch is very solid and except for my boo-boo with cutting the air dam, is almost invisible.
Quick delivery, no missing parts. Went on easy after cutting the trim as in the instructions.
Great product. I appreciate that it came with ALL of the hardware and fish wire needed to route the bolts. Well thought out.
WORKS GREAT! I made a trip to Alaska and back with the attached tray holding a generator and 10 gallons of gas. No problems at all.
The hitch arrived in a few days and fit perfectly. Everything we needed was included. I would highly recommend the product and company.

Perfect.
Excellent quality, perfect fit and installation went very smoothly. This is the 2nd Curt front receiver hitch I’ve purchased from etrailer. Very pleased with the ease of purchase and very fast delivery! I’ll be switching between a winch and snow plow on 2020 F350 Superduty.
Installed the 31078-hitch on a 2020 Ford F250 4x4 diesel truck. The install was completed from the garage floor, so the fascia was removed for easier access. The truck had fascia brackets, so they had to be removed and NOT reinstalled. The 31078-hitch fit perfectly and was easy to install with a person helping hold the hitch during the bolt installation process. As everyone has stated, don’t cut the fascia as per the instructions because the hole will be too big. I was successful in cutting an opening with about a 3/8” gap along the sides and top. This hitch will be used to carry a bike rack, generator, or cargo carrier.
Nice quality product. Packaging pretty banged up but didn’t expect any damage given what it is. Kind of hard to damage steel.
No problems with installation. Two front bolts both sides a challenge to torque given limited swing on wrench.
Curt was pretty generous on trim dimensions on front air dam. I trimmed to their dimensions and have over an inch of clearance on top. Side to side is okay.
Overall quite happy with my purchase.
Very well made. Great hardware. Straightforward installation.
Will be hanging 2 E bikes off a Superduty. Very pleased with product. And great fast shipping. Thanks.
Item and the fasteners are the highest quality, no import junk.
The welds, deburring, and paint are also superior.
The fit is spot on, not snug, not loose, just perfect.
It went on a 2021 F250 Tremor and no trimming was needed for the front fascia.
It hangs down to about the front steering linkage level, a perfect clearance marker.

Excellent ! Very Strong
Have installed 2 other Curt hitches on other vehicles without problems. Was not the case with this one. Fit was super tight, requiring a hammer to knock it in place on my new F-250 that only had 900 miles on it. I called the Curt technical support department and they were of no assistance. Blamed tightness on Ford. Also be very wary of the amount of skirting trim Curt recommends in their instructions, as it is way too much. I noticed that as a problem while watching the etrailer installation video and the installer trimmed out too much. Disappointing.
Arrived on time. Easy install even with a ranch hand grill guard already on the truck. Used 7” grade 8 bolts to secure thru guard frame and hitch. Used a transmission jack to raise hitch into place. Very heavy duty hitch and quality.
Fit perfectly and relatively easy to install. Only drawback is that it didn't come with a hitch receiver cover like my last one.

Works perfectly. Very happy with it.
Purchased this hitch a year ago, and was just as described. I installed it myself and it was pretty easy and straightforward. If I remember correct, it took about 1.5-2 hrs to install using all hand tools, laying on the ground by myself. Probably could cut the time almost in half using power tools, a lift and another person to help position and hold the hitch. Definitely recommend this hitch.
Hitch looks good, shipping box is trash ed.

The front hitch is fine. I would like to emphasize do not follow the instructions on cutting the air dam!
