The hitch worked great, hooked and unhooked with ease.

This can be easily put together and installed by one person. I had to put the base into the universal rails loosely and then torque the bolts to spec. This hitch was an upgrade.from the autoslide hitch I originally purchased for my 5th wheel. The noise and banging has disappeared. This hitch was well worth the money. I also purchased the custom fit wedge for my pinbox. I don't believe I could be any happier with this hitch.

The hitch has worked well for us. Some minor growing pains on our part.

I very much appreciate the expedited shipping and the follow-up. Appears all made it in good shape. Have put you guys on my favs along with Harbor freight, Home Depot, Cabella's, and Big 5.-----Tell more when installed. Will only use on occasion at Tree Farm.

Love the hitch, slider's OK, my truck hates them though. It'd probably be fine in a different vehicle but The "acceptable play" in the slider mechanism is at a resonance to my truck and camper creating a vicious front-back oscillation hitting rough surfaces. After addressing several other issues and the problem persists. Finally, I 3D Printed bushings to eliminate the play which almost completely eliminates the oscillation. On the bright side, Curt and etrailer are working with me on it.

1st off, customer service was Awesome, the ladies Ashley & Kim knew what they were talking about when helping me order my hitch. Installation was fairly easy, would help if you had a 2nd person but I got it done. The 1 thing that might be an issue is the height of the hitch when added with the height of the mount. I am hoping the new trailers kingpin will adjust low enough so the trailer rides level. For the hitch itself, I like it so far, can't wait to see how the full wrap around jaws works. I would recommend etrailer to anyone that needs a hitch. Gave ot 4 stars only for the fact I have not pulled with it yet.

The new lower base for the Demco hitch arrived on Tuesday via Freight it was a great interaction the driver I actually knew from a previous delivery, me and a friend were able to lift the old one out of the bed of my truck and install the new one today and all I have to say is... PERFECT FIT! It appears that Demco has already redesigned the lower base compared to my original one to prevent this problem from happening again. I was actually kind of shocked to see that upgrade and change. I cannot say enough good words about you with etrailer and Demco working with me to get this problem solvedm Yes it took a little bit of work, ultimately this time we got it. I cannot thank you guys enough. My friend and I will be finalizing the installation and getting it locked down to the bed with a few custom spacers for the lower rails this weekend. Here are a few pictures of the installation resuming. If I remember , when I finally pick up my new camper, I'll send some pictures along too. Have to give credit where credit is due . Not sure of you have a customer wall at HQ. I know we had one in my old shop. Anyway.. thank you again .

Has to do a little assembly, really easy. Tows super nice, when turning does move towards the back. You’ll need to adjust the guides for the fifth wheel.

Nice kit. Came with everything I needed to install.

We have the turning point pin on our rig so we had to get a wedge. I don't know if it was the wedge or the hitch but unless we were perfectly straight and level, we couldn't hitch up. Same with unhitching. After the 3rd time of not being able to unhitch without taking the entire head of the hitch off, we locked up the turning point and got a new hitch and do not use a wedge. Also, with only a bar going across, the pin seemed to wiggle around a lot.

So far so good. Hitch appears to be good quality. It was easy to install after installing the mounting kit. I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on how it handles when pulling a camper.

The B&W hitch is extremely high quality The fit and finish and how easy it works Is well worth the few extra bucks. And it made in America. Go B&W etrailer made it so easy thank you etrailer

This hitch works extremely well. The slide is nice if you get into any tight cornering situations. The hitch top and base separate making it a bit easier to mount and unmount.The lock washer used with the mounting bolt that draws up against the gooseneck pin broke on the 2nd use. I had 2 different torque wrenches set to 79 lbs that I tested the bolt with. Unsure why it broke. But overall we love this hitch and we pull a 38f 5ver without issue. Very smooth ride.

There is a slapping noise or a bumping coming from the fifth wheel can't seem to find it and I don't know if something is wearing out been finding metal shaving in the bed not big one's but enough to concern me though maybe you might have some insight about this? This starting happening about 6 months of Use.

Item was great, however twice now the packages have come severely damaged and once items were missing. I think you need to consider better packing on heavy items. because of this I could not give 5 stars.Thank you though for shipping out the missing items quickly without hassle.

Great product just missing important pins that hold it together. The team is quick to respond and I’m waiting on those pins now. Definitely recommend to anyone needing an affordable and quality fifth wheel. My 2017 Ram 1500 wasn’t hard to install except the removal of the gas tank.

Don’t buy any heavy or large item unless you have over two weeks to spare.. box arrived looking like hell and hardware was not even in a bag which resulted In missing parts.

Not my first purchase from etrailer, they are always helpful and friendly to deal with. I have always asked a lot of questions and they had all of the answers or got back to me with the info I needed. Highly recommend them. I bought the hitch in November and installed over the winter and just used for first time today. The only complaint I have is the retainer pins that hold the levers closed on the locking pins are pretty flimsy and bend easily. I never called about them but that is the only issue I had. Instructions were good and easy to follow for installation.

This is the second B&W slider I have owned. The quality is second to none. Took about 30 minutes to install. Years ago I bought one used, it was missing the little spring that keeps the head level, I called B&W to inquire how much it cost and where I could get one. They sent me the replacement for free, even though I told them I had bought it used. That tells you all you need to know about this company. Customer for life.

They advertise you can be within 3” of hitch and still connect I found that you need to be almost perfect. And to latch and unlatch there can’t be any pressure going up or weight going down, you have about a 1/4” to play with. I found it to be rougher when pulling than a normal fifth wheel hitch. It is very light though.

We have the Anderson Hitch installed on our 2017 Ford SuperDuty and pull a Reflection 337RLS. We have traveled over 4,000 miles and have been extremely satisfied. The hitch allows plenty of clearance between 5th wheel, bed, and the truck cab. Hook-up and disconnect has always been easy, even with RV lots that were uneven dirt lots. I use Curt thin rubber sound dampeners (item 16900) and this provides a quiet, tight fit between the rails and hitch. Of course the light weight makes it easy to remove when not towing and less weight when you are towing. A great product for the right truck, trailer combination.

Out with the old and in with the new companion fifth wheel hitch. I bought them both from etrailer. The 16K fifth wheel hitch was purchased for my Silverado without a Puck system then I traded it in two years later for a Ram Laramie 3500 dually with a puck system. Stayed with B&W hitches because they are built to last and easy to use. etrailer my,"go to site". Yes it was a huge upgrade going from 16k patriot to a 25k companion hitch and worth every penny. Thanks again to E-Trailer and B&W.

Just installed my 5th wheel. (mechanically inclined) 30 minutes and done. Whoever thought of the puck system in the newer trucks is a genius! BW made this bad boy heavy duty. Was all I could do to lift frame in place. Put in place loosened all bolts and it fit in place like a glove. Torqued bolts and cannot wait to get my new toyhauler hitched up!!

We received our new BW Companion hitch on time. Noticed that our BW Turnover Ball hitch already installed in truck required a shorter socket post one week out from our trip. With a quick discussion with the great people at etrailer as well as BW, we had the new socket post shipped and installed prior to leaving town. Easy install - All worked as designed. Finally got my new B&W Companion Gooseneck to 5th wheel hitch installed in the bed of my 2024 Ford F250 Lariat. While I have not pulled my fifth wheel yet, I have hooked up to check clearances, etc. first thing I noticed was how easy hooking up and unhooking was with this witch. This hitch is solid and I look forward to many miles traveling with it. My truck has 6.7 foot bed and in the picture I will send you will notice I still had room for a 43 gallon auxiliary fuel tank. Thanks to etrailer for their help with purchase.

It preforms as described. For me it was difficult to get the base correctly set up so the hitch would easily remove out of the trunk bed then reinstall. I actually had to assemble the hitch in the trunk to get all of the parts to correctly align. My concern is what would happen if the hitch is rotated beyond the gears. The trailer can rotate beyond the limitation of the gears. The picture shows the hitch at full rotation but as you can see the trunk could still rotate farther without contact to the cab.

Item works exactly as described. I have a shortbed (6.5') Ford F350. Probably towed our 5th wheeler 5000+ miles with no problem. Then last year it happened! We were making a sharp turn in an uneven lot and POW, the 5vr hit the rear window and it exploded. After that I became gun shy about turning with the 5vr attached so I started looking at sliding hitches. A slider that you had to get out and unlatch to make work, didn't make sense to me. At what point do you get out? So, an auto slider hitch was purchased. Now when I get to a certain degree turn the auto-slide hitch moves back in its carriage and then auto-slides to the normal location once straightened out. Not gun shy anymore. Pro: Well packaged Well made Easy install It WORKS. Cons: Price Very heavy Some clunking after it straightens out from a turn

I have not towed with it yet but the build quality is excellent. The finish is perfect. The slider function is very smooth. It was very easy to get in the truck, but not sure that is unique to any modern puck system. The cotter pin on the castle bolts on the puck locking handles were a bit finicky. It is heavy, but not as heavy as I thought. I think I have a few more years in me for moving it myself!

my companion 5th wheel hitch(rvk3370) hitch was delivered on 3/11, I installed it in a couple hours on 3/12. It was a piece of cake, the delivery was made with a lift gate truck that I back my truck up to and had the driver lower the lift gate down onto my tailgate, I unpackaged the hitch and was able to Maneuver it by myself into the puck system on my truck, I have the slider hitch so much heavier than the standard one, but still very easy for my 65 year old body to handle, the B t W was the only hitch I considered because of the ruggedness and quality of their products my truck is a 2023 Ford F 350

This is a top notch, very well built hitch. Dropped right in to my oem puck system on a 2024 Chev 2500 hd. The first hookup was so smooth that I wasn’t sure I was even on my kingpin. E trailer had it delivered the next day from ordering!! The other important thing to note is this hitch takes up a 17” x 30” footprint which is way smaller than an Andersen base.

Like most say the packaging could be better. But it came without any scratches and looks awesome. Didn’t take long to install. Directions were easy. Can’t wait to try it out! As always, eTrailer rocks. Will continue to purchase from them.

This hitch is average at best. It has been garage kept and already sticking and not opening properly. I have owned a 5th wheel camper my entire life and the 2 prior hitches was never serviced and gave no issues. I would not recommend this hitch to no one....

This 5th wheel has exceeded all my expectations. It’s worked flawlessly for thousands of miles and many different type of 5th wheels trailers. Not a peep, B&W FTW!!
