This cargo hitch has made our lives so easy! The best thing to be invented for compact SUVs that have no cargo space on the roof. My car has a panoramic sun roof and doesn't have the ability to carry heavy loads on top so we needed a solution for traveling. When our car is packed with 8 passengers there is NO room for luggage inside. And a normal trailer to pull would only allow speeds of 35 miles a hour. So this cargo hitch really made things so easy.

We had gotten use to all the noise with the previous carrier, so it was quite the surprise to have absolutely no noise from this carrier. It's sturdy, well made, and looks great. I haven't used this yet, but the day it arrived I promptly put it together and installed it on my KIA. This is a very sturdy little unit. My wife and I can't wait to try it out the next time we take a trip. This will give us some much needed room in our Sorento and allow me to see out the back glass (she seems to over pack for trips haha). I am also glad I purchased the Blue Ox Hitch receiver Immobilizer II BX88224 as well. Thanks again etrailer. Customer service was very helpful in resolving an out of stock issue and worked with me to get my order taken care of. I actually received the whole order the next day. This is a great carrier. It was easy to put together and works great. Folds up fine on my Kia Sorrento. We plan to use it for our Christmas drive this year and I am really confident it will work great.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Super disappointed in this etrailer purchase. The product came in a large box that was fully intact and not damaged. The actual cargo basket was meticulously wrapped and appeared to be brand new as expected. The other components however, like the arm, were in boxes that were smashed, old, worn, and had multiple layers of old tape. The arm itself was scratched and banged up, even rusty in spots. Clearly it was used or had been a returned item. If I wanted a dented, gouged,and rusty Cargo Carrier I would have purchased one used, for half the price. This is not the quality I expect from etrailer.. I have purchased many racks and other items from this company and usually the quality is outstanding. This time they dropped the ball. I have since read other reviews and it is apparent that this is not an isolated incident. I'd have sent it back if it wasn't so damn heavy and awkward to lug around.
Holds all my gear. Just what I was hoping for. Now my dogs have the car all to themselves. Really bummed that there are "Made in China" stickers all over it. I went with etrailer because I thought they were a USA company. I guess no one can turn down that cheap slave labor. Hopefully my gear does not end up on the highway.

A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.
