Best 2017 Volkswagen Passat Tie Down Anchors

Extremely well built and solid anchors. I was missing a bolt from the kit, and etrailer quickly sent me a replacement. great service, great products.

I bought these D-ring anchors for my flatbed trailer. They were super easy to install and have been working great. I would definitely recommend for anyone who needs to add anchors or add additional anchors to their trailer. My trailer sits outside year round and these still look like the day I installed them and function perfectly.

Well made product, quick shipping, great customer service once again. I used a router with a mortise bit to get a round and flat bottomed hole to install the hold-downs. Much cleaner than the "use a hole saw and screwdriver out the chunks" install shown on the video. Only issue is that the kits come with regular bolts. Should have carriage bolts to allow loaded material to slide across the top of the folded tie downs.

Well I haven't installed them yet; but if the construction is any indication of the performance, these will be a kick ass addition to my Trike trailer. I wanted swiveling D-Rings as opposed to the fixed D-Rings. Those are probably strong enough to hold my Trike; but why invest in a cheaper D-Ring to save a buck and always wonder if pulling on an angle is weaking the D-Ring. I just want to do a straight line pull to the anchor point. The bottom plate is also going to a a ton of strength to the unit.

I have been looking for this particular type of product for a few weeks. I have looked pretty much everywhere I could think of. I saw this product and compared the price to other similar products. Given the lower price of this product I was a little hesitant to purchase until I read the reviews. I am very glad I read the reviews and am more than pleased with the quality of items received. I installed these on the sideboards I have on my Silverado (please see attached photos). I usually do not right reviews on products but felt I should take the time to review this one. I welded these tie down anchor points to my car hauler trailer, they seem to work great.

These things are beast, just the look i wanted for my off road mini camper im building. Very heavy duty, welding 8 of these on the camper. 2 on every side. Will be great for strapping down canoe and such on rack on top of camper. These are like what you see on flat bed tractor trailers.
