Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
i am writing this review bit early. didn't have much time to actually go out and use it. shipping and packing was fine. nothing broke or bend and quick. looking for something good to fall in price range. not a heavy bike user. Ordered hitch receiver from etrailer also which worked great I think. I fit it my self. about this rack, it runs bit heavy.. weight itself is around 33 lbs. and hinge where it can be tilt down is less strong compared to rack itself... but hopefully will hold for few over 3-5 years. happy about rack quality though, it's really sturdy. now the hole for pin where it holds in receiver have some issues. I was worrying about dimensions and this is where I got hit. Rack specification didn't mension the size of diameter of hole where hitch pin fit neither it recommned anything. It comes with bolt but I was looking for something I can keep rack for kind of permanent with lock pin. So I started to shop arround to be precise hitch pin lock. Surprisingly the drilled hole in rack for hitch pin is off odd size. 11mm-12mm (12 on very tight fit) and nothing in market comes with that diameter size. checked everywhere and all carry standard 1/2 in and 5/8 diameter size. So I am now without locking hitch pin. probably will return or have to rely with 15' cable lock for all time which works both on rack and bike together. I will be calling etrailer for solution but not sure it will be helpfull, as they also carry standard size only. so wait till then...I will update once I found solution for this. By the way I did have recomondation from etrailer on three different rack. I picked this one. the representaive did answer for my question though. which were helpfull in certain ways.
This bike rack was a good choice for us. We put it to use on our RAV4, and it's a good solid fit. It's heavy, but tolerable, and I take that as more evidence that it's good solid quality. We definitely prefer it to the bike rack we used on our Corolla. etrailer has been a great place to do business for this sort of product: A good website, easy ordering, and fast delivery!

Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack - Spare Tire Mount - Folding Dual Arms
This bike rack works great. Took my bike on a cross country road trip from Tampa, Florida to Whistler, British Columbia and back with no issues. There was no slipping or excessive shaking with highway speeds up to 80ish mph. Encountered 105 degree heat, rain squalls and snow storms with no issues. No problems with the set up and the fact that the rear spare tire on my 2011 Toyota Rav4 is off center was not an issue as the rack can accommodate for this. It's a well made product from a reputable company. Make sure to read the directions as they advise against opening the rear hatch with the bike on the rack due to weight concerns. Shipping was quick as were replies to questions to customer service. Follow up correspondence from etrailer was also appreciated. Overall great experience, would highly recommend the product as well as etrailer. Thanks!
I should say that I've owned a Thule canoe rack and a car top carrier and have been satisfied with both, so I may be slightly brand biased. The rack is rock solid and installed (on my 2011 RAV4) just as the video indicated. It holds my old mountain bike perfectly; my hybrid fits snugly as well but takes more of an effort to mount. Pricing was competitive and purchasing from the e trailer website was straight forward and easy. My rack arrived on time and intact, and I received email updates as promised. In my case, I would give high marks and recommendations to both the rack and e trailer.

Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
This bike rack has served me well over the past year. It's super easy to put on and off of my Rav4 and hold my bike very steady while driving.
The product arrived in very quick time. However, one of the locking spring loaded pins refused to pop out to its locked position. After about a half hour of fiddling it finally popped out as it should have. It is installed in a 2014 Rav 4 XLE and fitted well. I have yet to take it for a test run. The side straps are secured to the back glass window and hopefully will be O.K. It did take quite a bit of adjusting to fit the two bikes as they do not have normal cross bars.
What our customers are saying:
"Everyone that bought before me was right! I got my rack in time for my next days off and putting it together was fast too. And I'm a grandma!! Thank you for being fast and honest! You beat anyone in my town hands down!"
