Hopkins Endurance Easy-Pull Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector - Trailer End - 12" Long
One of the best products out there for trailer wiring. It has solved my problems of broken wires and connectors perfectly.
great works, easy to install, I put one on and have another to put on my other trailer but should be as easy to install as the first, I love it easer to get in and out of the connection to the jeep.

Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole Vehicle End Trailer Connector
This product works as expected. There is not too much to the installation, just plug it in properly and mount the ground wire. I did not find an easy way to mount this to my wife's Odyssey, or to the trailer hitch (item# 75270). Luckily, I do prototype design and manufacturing. So I came up with my own solution. I designed and made my own bracket to mount the 7 pole to the trailer hitch. It works like a charm, and looks great!
i had to replace these two items as my dear daughter went down our goat path driveway too fast. they replaced the originals from etrailer from the prior year. shipping is timely and customer service actually helps! i wired from battery to controller to hitch myself, and everything fit.

7-Way Round RV Style Trailer Connector - Trailer Side
I was expecting blade connectors as shown in the pictures and video and that is the main reason I purchased this item. Instead it had screw connectors.
It would have been very helpful if the item description would have stated that the trailer connector was equipped with "Spade Contacts" and require Spade Connectors, and/or illustrate this in a picture, and provide those connector as part of the package. It would have saved a lot of time in making a second order to acquire the Spade Connectors.

Hopkins 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector w/ 48" Harness
SMI Stay in Play Duo installation in 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited – Packaging was great with everything needed included plus extra items for various installation methods of you’re choosing. Upon initial investigation and survey, everything except the CD Information pack was accounted for. No big deal, as I had previously watched 2 different Youtube installations found on the internet. In fact, the internet videos were what I used as my step by step installation process, and the written instructions were only used for concerns where the video may not have been as clear as I had hoped for. Understanding that everyone has their own style and methods for doing this project, I purposely was not in a hurry to rush through it. All in all, I took @ 8 hours to install the Adapter 4 to 6 pole #30637, the EZMount Tow lights Kit, and the Stay in Play Duo Braking System. I choose the EZMount because I didn’t want to mess around with the OEM taillights and wiring. Magnetic lights don’t work so well on composite tops and I didn’t want to stick them to the sides of te Jeep, so I modified the EZ mount to wrap around the thickness of the rear glass hatch on both sides. I added a 2”x 4” pc of Velcro on the inside of the glass hatch and the mating surface of the plastic light housing - to hold the lamps in place until the rear gate was closed. I ran the wire harness on the inside under the trim all the way up to the front and through the grommet in the firewall. The flat 4 wire was routed and secured up to the Adapter 4 pole to 6 pole that I had fastened to the Blue Ox base plate. The actual installation of the SMI unit and assorted parts went rather smoothly. Most difficult issue was the lack of working space in front of the driver’s seat area. Installing the screw that holds the G force controller on the front (the side towards the front of the car) was difficult as it was almost a blind installation due to lack of room. The nut and fender washer used through the fire wall for attaching the air cylinder cable bracket was a challenge to reach - tight fit with not much room for one's hand and arm. Other than that, no big surprises – just a lot of tedious steps to do when you want to be sure that it is being installed properly – take your time and don’t be in a hurry. Once everything was installed – it all worked when I checked the system out. The only thing that may seem a bit odd is that when setting the G force initially, the compressor will shut off while adjusting per instructions. To do this initial adjustment, the wife stepped on the brake in the Motorhome, with the switch “On”. The compressor starts, and the brake is pushed down by the Air Cylinder, at which time I slowly adjusted the G force until the compressor shuts off. I secured the adjusting bolt and I told the wife to take her foot off the brake and then re-apply them. The compressor did not start again and the air cylinder did not apply the brakes in the Jeep. After setting the G force per instructions, the unit didn't turn on when the brakes in the Motorhome were applied - but since we were not moving - all I can assume is that the brake system will function while slowing down once the accelerometer setting (the sensitivity setting on the G force box) has been met. I assume that the sensitivity setting method includes a way to ensure the Jeep brakes are not engaged too frequently and only until needed. This is the only step that is a tad bit confusing without an explanation as to what to expect once the G force sensitivity is set. Lastly, I checked the brake away switch and it turned the compressor on and applied the brakes as expected. Overall - the installation went rather smoothly. Can't wait to see how the product works once we hit the road. I'll check back and provide an update later.
looks okay.

Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole
Really nice trailer wiring adapter. Very easy install. Takes about 30 minutes with all the tools needed. Drill, 7/64 bit for pilot holes to mount the bracket, flat blade screwdriver and 11/32 nut driver and two #10 self tapping metal screws with locking split washers and a couple zip ties to tidy up the wiring harness.
This is a great adapter to retro fit connections on my 2011 Expedition. Simple to instal and great support from etrailer.com.

Hopkins Endurance 5-Way Flat Trailer Wiring Kit - Vehicle and Trailer Ends - Ergonomic Design
etrailer is the only place I could find this item. It is much higher quality than other flat connectors, with weather covers and big finger/thumb grips to actually hold onto the connectors and easily separate them. I used the 'trailer' end in my adapter unit.
The female connector is attached to the swing arm of a motorcycle to provide lighting lighting for a trailer pulled by the motorcycle. This means that there is likely much more movement in the harness than for an automotive application. I've never had a problem with any part of the harness. I found this product to be exactly what I wanted, well made and easy to install. The protective cap functions well as it remains pliable (flexible) after a year of use, and while it has never fallen off in use, it is easy enough to remove before making the connection. It has done the perfect job of keeping mud and other detritus out of the contacts. The recessed nut holders also function well and is one of the reasons I chose this wiring kit. This wiring kit gets high regard and recommendation from me. All of my purchases from etrailer have been solid products delivered at reasonable cost.

Hopkins Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector - Trailer End - 4' Long
Perfect! extra long so I got rid of all my bull crab wiring
Well made, especially the mounding around the plug. Pin alignment was very good.

Hopkins Tail Light Converter with 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector
I used the Hopkins 3 to 2 converter to make a 6-pin round to 4-flat connector for my Winnebago View motorhome. While there are 6-4 plugs available to do this, they do not work on the Winnebago View (no brake lights). This adaptor works great.
This device was no help in connecting my five wire trailer to my four wire goldwing. I ended up having to use a number of diodes in the trailer wiring to make everything work properly. My trailer had red LEDs that were used for Brake, Turn & stop and I had to get the brake and turn function to share the same lead on the light fixture.

Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Trailer Connector Adapter - 7-Way to 6-Way, 5-Way or 4-Way
My '92 GMC Sierra had a 6-pin trailer harness connector and I'm going to be pulling a pop-up camper in a few weeks that has a 7-pin connector. I originally ordered a 47435 6-Pole to 7-Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter. After thinking about it for a day I changed my mind and ordered a HM48470 Hopkins Endurance Multi-tow 7-way, 5 & 4-wire Flat Connector to mount in the bumper and a HM47570 Hopkins Endurance Multi-tow Connect Adapter - 7-way To 6-way, 5-way and 4-way. The HM48470 will allow me to pull the pop-up as well as giving me the 4-wire flat connector that I need for my boat trailer. I bought the HM47570 adapter just to cover all the trailer wiring needs I might run into. I really like the fact that the 47570 adapter has the quick change plug to cover both wiring arrangements for 6-pin trailer connectors. I placed the original order Saturday evening and the second order Sunday afternoon. Monday morning, I called etrailer.com to try to cancel the first order and was told that both orders were already boxed and on the way the shipper. I had no idea that they had people there to pull and box orders on the weekend. I asked about returning the first order when it arrived and was told by Helen M that it would be no problem at all. I have been extremely pleased with my purchase experience with etrailer.com. Everyone I spoke with there was very knowledgeable and I will not hesitate to go directly to them for my trailer and towing needs in the future.
I needed an adapter for my electrical towing harness so the that I could use a 5-Way connector on my 7-WAY plug. On line, I found and ordered Item No. HM47570 "HOPKINS ENDURANCE MULTI-TOW CONNECTOR ADAPTER - 7-WAY to 6-WAY, 5-WAY or 4-WAY." When I received the product, I was really stoked, it was exactly what I needed and what I had been looking for! I tried it on for "size" as you might say and it's going to work like a charm. I will send some photos later when I'm done with the installation! No time right now. . this coming weekend! Photo 1&2 my connector; Photo 3&4 the new HM47570; Photo 5,6,&8 the light bar I wanted to install and the completed project. Thanks a bunch!

Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Connector with Molded Cable - Trailer End - 8' Long - RV Standard
7 pin connector separated from cable. I was expecting that "Molded Cable" meant that the connector was fused to the cable insulation but instead, the two separated almost immediately after I installed it. It still works fine as the wires are connected securely inside the connector but with the outer covering pulled out like this, I don't think it will last very long.
Çable good but after putting new 7way plug on truck cable wire colors did not match etrailers picture

20 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness - Wishbone Style - 30" Ground
Wiring worked perfect for my project. I replaced the wiring on my 14 foot utility trailer. If I was to do it again I would buy the next length up. I would have liked to have a little extra wiring if I was to ever need it.
Your sales staff is second to none. Keep up the good work. You shipped minutes after I placed my order! Very impressed! Marty

Hopkins 4-Way Flat Trailer Wiring Kit - Vehicle and Trailer Ends
My 12 ft utility trailer needed a makeover, I stripped it down, installed new boards, repainted I and installed new wiring and lights. I ordered the wiring and lights from etrailer and they arrived in about a week and everything I ordered arrived in perfect shape. It installed very easily and worked perfectly when connected to my vehicle. Thanks etrailer for delivering on quality products and great service. Marty, Peoria AZ
I decided this would be cheaper than any extension I could find, plus I'm going to shorten the wires anyways, so it's no big deal if it's in two parts already. I have a powered light adapter that's intended to be located outside, but I don't care for the idea of having that power wire running out to the hitch, so I'm going to use this kit as an extension so I can keep the adapter inside the car. My car has auxiliary wiring sockets to plug a trailer harness into, so I wont be using the included splices, but those look fairly decent. I would recommend packing those splice taps with grease, to keep water out if you use those sort of things. I usually don't

Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole w/Test Lamps
Not too difficult to install, but I would recommend using a car lift so you don't have to work from your back (review includes wiring harness and Brake Controller)
Very easy install. My truck had a precut hole in the bumper for the plug. I then hooked the spare 4 pole plug into a Reese Universal mounting bracket and mounted it onto the hitch.

Hopkins Endurance 7-Way Trailer Connector Socket - Vehicle End - Ergonomic Design
Well I wasn't able to use this as there was no good place to install on my car without it practically dragging. Not a product problem at all. I tried to return and customer service was fast and super helpful... unfortunately return shipping would eat up any refund. So.. I get to keep it. good quality and product. Very happy with it and wish I could use it. Will keep it for sometime in the future when of course I will need it.
I bought this socket for my 2006 Volvo Xc90 to wire in the 4-Pole harness I also purchased from etrailer. Already had a few 7 Blade to 4-Pole adapters from my previous vehicle, and wanted the option of adding a trailer brake wire for a small camper later on so that was the main reason for the purchase. It also went very well with the Hidden Hitch I had already installed, bracket mounted right up to the existing tabs on the hitch. Super quick and easy install, as all of my etrailer purchases have been. Looks great on the truck, and functions great with the 180 Degree cover.

Pollak 5-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Connector - Chrome - Trailer End
Used on a pull behind motorcycle trailer so could go from receiving a 6 pin to a 5 pin. Wired it into loom so can use on more than one motorcycle. Works great. Glad to have found a place that even sold this product.
A similar trailer light connector was installed on my motorcycle cargo trailer when I purchased it way back in 2003. When I purchased my new Gold Wing in 2019, I wanted to use the same type of connector. Since I had to add a new female connector to the bike, I decided to renew the male connector on the trailer. I especially like this connector because it always stays secure when connected. I also wanted the connections to be out of sight when not in use. I have pulled my trailer with this new connection for over 2,500 miles and it has performed great.

Hopkins Endurance 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector - Trailer End - Ergonomic Design
I rewired my light bar for my boat trailer with the items I purchased. Before I built the the light bar, every time I used my boat trailer I would waste valuable sailing or fishing time repairing faulty lights. The do not last long when you submerge them in salt water. This light bar now version 3.0 have given little trouble over the years
Great product. Works well when I had a broken connection on my 4 way plug end on my light-up hitch cover I bought from y'all a while back. Always a happy customer. Thanks, George.

7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector - 3' Long
I've had this in use for over a year and they don't build them like they use to. I use this on a gooseneck trailer and the piece of plastic behind the spade connector for the clearance lights and brakes has melted, allowing the spade connector to lose contact with the plug on the pickup. So the lights would cut off in the middle of the night and would have to wiggle the connection till I could fix it. I have an older Hopkins plug and never had this problem. To fix the problem I ended up putting pieces of thin copper wire behind the spade and have done it twice since the plastic melted a 2nd time and once again the trailer clearance lights would quit working. Attached are before and after pictures.
The product works great but the color coding is off compared to the colors on the trailer. I started hooking this up matching all of the colors.( Red on Red, Black on Black, etc.) When I plugged in the trailer in it blew a fuse. So I got online and found out that the Hopkins wiring is different then normal trailer wiring. Overall it works great but the colors should match to make it easier to hook up.

Adapter 7 Pole to 4 Pole with Tester and Cover
ETrailer had exactly what I wanted at a fair price. Website was easy to navigate and purchasing was simple. Shipping was fast and I was kept notified right up to when I received my order.
Plugs in easily, shows that pins are producing voltage, and locks in place using the spring loaded door to the 7-pin.

Hopkins 4-Pole Loop - 12" Long
Perfect product for my needs. My 4 pin is hiding under a cover on my bumper, so I used this device to plug into the vehicles 4 pin and allow the extension to hang below the bumper. Now I can quickly plug in to the adapter without taking a panel off. Cheap easy fix for a great deal of convenience!
I had purchased a Pro Series Cargo Carrier 63153 and the 20174 light kit. Assembly was very straight forward but I found that the 4-pole connector harness was too short. This 12" extension was perfect. Also, Jonathon at etrailer provided excellent customer support getting it to me while on a trip.

Hopkins Heavy-Duty Trailer Coiled Wire Adapter for 7-Way to 4-Wire Flat
Works, exact fit, high quality, coils tight so max of about 3.5’ perfect! Heavy duty wiring, great waterproof connections.
Needed a longer connector for my vehicles. Both have 7 way plugs, but I use a trailer with a 4 flat plug. The coiled adapter works great for both of the vehicles. Very good product if you need some extra length and the fact that it has the coils makes for a better appearance.
