Hey Bret, yes you can use the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 with a 6-way to 7-way adapter like what you mentioned. Since all of the circuits end up matching correctly in the 7-way that the Mobile installs in the Echo will work just fine. This will make it easier to switch between multiple vehicles like you mentioned as well. How many vehicles would you be switching it between? view full answer...

This really wouldn't be a viable option, but there are air conditioners designed for vehicle use you could look into.
The only thing we could really offer would... view full answer...

Hey Frank, thanks for reaching out!
If your 2014 Ford Van has the OEM brake controller, then I'm pretty confident that it has, or at least had, trailer wiring.
Check up and under the bumper to see if you can find anything. I believe at the very least you need the Hopkins Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185 along with some 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 to go from the brake controller to the 7-Way.
Best case scenario all you need is the Hopkins Wiring # HM40975 which plugs into a US CAR... view full answer...
