I'll start out by saying that if the manufacturer of the vehicle states a 220-lbs tongue weight limit, then that is the safe limit they've tested for the frame; there may be other items at the rear of your coach that will also put stress on this portion of the frame. You will always be limited by the lowest rated component in any hitch/vehicle/accessory combo and in this case the vehicle's frame can only handle 220-lbs of tongue weight, so what the hitch is rated for won't matter.

The temptation is to go with the highest rating as it seems like that would be the most supportive, but in reality you want to go with the best matched capacity which balances ride quality and support. Going with too high of a capacity will give you a harsh ride quality that you wouldn't like.
