If you haven't already you'll want to pull the pins that connect head of your B&W Companion # BWRVK3600 to the base. From there you'll be able to lift the head off of the pivot arms by pulling up on the handles with rubber grips on each side of the hitch.

Since this is a small LED light you should be okay tying into the wiring for the roller lights but I'm not sure I would be comfortable having those roller lights on if the awning is rolled up.
