There are a few things that can cause bounce with a bumper pull trailer. Generally, bias ply tires would not contribute to trailer bounce, unless they are excessively worn. Trailer bounce is can be caused by worn out suspension components. You will want to get under the trailer and give everything a good look-over.
You will want to check and make sure the trailer is completely level when towing.

Appreciate the purchase of the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR, and that blue light does go off eventually - it will fade out after roughly 15 minutes. Keep in mind once you open the door the blue light will come back on, so it may not look like it is going out but take a gander in the window after 15 minutes and the light will be gone.

For a correct measurement you need to measure the distance from the ground to the top of the receiver opening on your vehicle.
You then need to measure the height from the ground to the bottom of your coupler on your trailer when the trailer is level and on level ground.

According to the manufacturer, the etrailer brand # e98907 Class III hitch will affect the rear liftgate sensors, but only in that the area right under the center of the bumper. If you try about one foot to either side of the hitch receiver tube, the sensors will pick up the movement.
